Rules Questions & Clarifications / Winter affects in Pacific theatre

Do you still get a negative or positive modifier during combat in the tropical places (India, Southeast Asia, pacific islands) during the winter? I would think no, or maybe only in China, but can you guys clarify this to me?

Game Design / V1/V2 Rockets

I always felt the V rockets in the game are doing a little too much economic damage than they did historically. I've been thinking about it and I have a proposition to make.

V1: cost 4, range 2, 1 d3 economic damage, AA unit can defend against it, R results is a hit. After all half of these rockets were destroyed in the air. You only destroy the rocket and not the facility. You will need to conquer the area to destroy the actual facility.

V2: cost 6, range 3, 1d3 economic damage, AA can not defend against these attacks. You will need to build 2 V1 rockets to start building a V2 rocket.

Sounds historical?

I just found this unit on shape ways and purchased a few. Romanians made about 350 of these fighters, what would it's combat values will be if I was to use it as a house rule in my game? Does 4-2-3-3 sounds good? I know they weren't as good as the Me-109s, any suggestions?

Historical Board Gaming is selling a 3D fortification piece. The way it comes its a little too big to fit on the counter, but I just got off the phone with Doug, the owner of the company, he can scale it to the point that will fit on the counter. Im planning on ordering about 60-70 of them, if anybody else will like to mass order with me, we will most likely get a really good pricing for it. There is the link of the website, take a look at the pieces being offered and we can decide all together which one will be better for the game. I was thinking on the dimensions, 13mm wide/8mm long and 8-10mm high, it will make it git on the counter perfectly                   .
 take a look and let me know what do you think.

Ive been an owner of this game for 4 yrs, but I didnt actually started playing it the last 2. Im starting this blog to help new ppl to better understand this game, or give some ideas to the existing owners on where to find the playing pieces, painting ideas etc.. Ive been painting minis for a few yrs, Im not at any way a pro, but I try my best. When you order the game you receive an email with all the files( country charts, battleboards, and markers that you will need to print out on your own. I printed mine out, glue them on a card board and laminate the set charts. You You are also need to print out the playing counters and glue them underneath the minis, but I didnt have to do that since Im using my own personalized ones. At the first pics you will see how the battleboards look like and the national set cards. The map is a thing of beauty, and the apprx size is 4x6 ft.

So if I understood the rule correctly every time an air unit flies above an AA unit you roll against it. This happens only on the movement phase but not when they return from combat.

What's the purpose of the Italian North Africa Shipping Box SW of Sicily? It doesn't have a PP value or a lend lease circle?

Can the russian  transport be one of the air units when you try to meet the garrison requirements for the extra 25PP? Rules don't say you cant, but I would like to double check

What's the most efficient way to invade Norway?If you have the imitative and move first, I usually sent a transport with a landing craft in Narvik with a mnt unit, and a transport with a landing craft with a mnt unit in Oslo, with 2 paratroopers, and have the second Norwegian unit die once Oslo is taken. If the Allies try to reinforce that unit, I have the kriegmarine on standby, with a few air units from northern Germany. Is there a better way to invade Norway?

Strategy Tips / Operation Torch

Ive been practicing how to start the Operation Torch in Autumn 42, but im having a hard time setting everything up on time. US doesnt enter the war until the non-combat movement phase of Winter 41. Spring 42, it builds units with the 15pps from the previous turn, and then collects  the 70pp. It cant build units with this pps until Summer 42 turn, and place those builds on the map at the end of the Summer 42 turn. Autumn 42 they usually move everything down to Gilbratar, and the earliest you can sea invade North Africa is the Winter 42 turn. Are you guys doing something else to be able to invade North Africa in Autumn 42? The only other way, will be, dont send any lend lease to UK, or maybe minimum, and build the units in while still neutral. Do you guys build landing craft in with UK pps or US? I think buildig Landing craft in UK will work better(closer to Gilbratar). Thx in advance for any tips guys.

Can you use paratroopers in the mech phase, if you didn't use them of course in the combat phase? Can't find anything in the files that prohibit this.

Rules Questions & Clarifications / Commonwealth income for builds

Hi guys I'm playing the European theatre only, and I have a quick question. Common wealth starts with 20PP do you spend pps for builds on each individual country( India,Australia, Canada) as the set up sheet says, 6,6 and 8 pps for each, only you can build one turn ex. 20 pps for Canada or anyway you want? I would think each country spends their money individually but I would like someone to clarify this.

I myself can only see pros on a situation like that, a) 10 extra pps per turn,b) one extra headache for the allies (North Africa) besides  France, Atlantic, and Norway, Can anybody tell me whats the cons, cause I cant think of any ?

One more thing I would like to clarify is tracing supply thru lake areas when there is a flotilla unit present. Does it take a single flotilla unit for all the units in the area to stay in supply, or is there s limit on how many units will be able to trace supply thru one? I'm talking about the Leningrad area, thx in advance
