1)  Does the defender bonus for front and support of river attacks apply on every combat round? *Unless para drop.  While the attacker modifier only applies on the first round.. is it right that the defender has the bonus for the whole battle? (battle chart only has the *lasts only for 1 turn* on the attacker side.)

Both the attacker and the defender are modified for the first round of combat during river and amphibious assaults.  I'll make the change on the battleboard and make it more clear in the rules

Out of supply AA die rolls are modified by +1.  This is noted on the ground battleboard, but not as clear on the naval battleboard.

Yes - all values (including AA) reduced by 1.

This is a good question.  I think the ruling should be, the plane is eliminated.  The reason I say this is because sub combat (whether it is movement interdiction or at the conclusion of the battle) is happening after the battle is over, or before it begins (in the case of interdicting movement).  I think the plane should be killed.

Air-to-air combat proceeds ground combat every combat round, so paratroopers dropped by the attacker or the defender would have to survive one round of air combat before being dropped into reserve.  They would also have to survive one round of AA fire by the way.

even after updating the charts the vichy setup is still wrong.

Vichy 1941:West Coast of Africa

It can happen in the actual Dispostion of the France fleet on surrendering.
(Only Gulf of Lyon is allowed)

It should be changed on the chart to allow that?

More Rule Clarifications:

Yes - once they join the Axis, Axis minors may also be railed as part of the 20 capacity for Germany + Italy

Yes - when using tactical movement, all units may move into enemy ZOCs

Yes - but all units being moved into the ground battle via transport ship would be placed in reserve for the first round of battle.

Yes - straights are considered the same as attacking over a major river.  Therefore, there are modifiers to both the attacker and the defender for the first round of combat (only)

Question about convey centers ( not lead lease centers ), the PP's for the convey, do they get added to the combined total pp of  land territories that the country owns eg. at the start of game UK has a PP total of 40, now do the PP of say the Bristish mid Atlantic worth 5 PP get added to that 40PP or that 5 PP represents what they could possibly lose to strategic warfare, which would come off of that total of 40 ?
