How to make airplane stands #2. I took the idea from Marks airplane units.

1) First you will need to print out the aircraft units from the files you receive after you purchase the game, on a high gloss self adhesive paper. Then you need to stick the print out on a 0.06 polystyrene sheet, and cut the stands from the sheet, pic#1.
2) You need to buy a mini aluminum drill from ebay(12 bucks) I used wire nails, cut both ends with a nail cutter, appx half an inch long.
3) Drill small holes under the airplane and one in the middle of the counter, and super glue the nail(hard wire ) in there, I usually glue them in the airplane first.

End result should look something like that. This is the British hvy and med bombers plus the air transports, that they been used in the game.

Finished all the British Air Force. There are 9 air units being used in this game.

1)Gladiator as an early fighter.
2)Swordfish as a naval bomber.
3)Hurricane as a fighter.
4)Spitfire as a fighter.
5)Mosquito as a long range fighter/ground attack plane.
6)Typhoon as an ground attack plane.
7)Medium Bombers: I used Blenheim and Wellingtons
8)Heavy Bombers: I use Lancaster's and Short Sterling's.
9)Air transport: Used C-47 air units.

You can find any of these units at tumbling dice 1/600 scale, metal, and some plastic ones(less expensive) from HBG like the spitfire, hurricanes,c-47s, swordfish, and the Lancaster or short sterling hvy bomber .

I bought a few naval units from shapeways. They are 1/3600 to 1/4000 scale, a couple of bucks each, in the pic I have 4 S.Dakota BBs, 2 Bismarcks, and 2 Schnarsthorsts. Good detail and quick shipping.

Filled up some gaps today, with the new US expansion set from Historical Board Gaming. They plastic thus a lot less expensive than the metal ones, but still look great.
