Italian North Africa Shipping Box
« on: August 17, 2015, 06:05:57 PM »
What's the purpose of the Italian North Africa Shipping Box SW of Sicily? It doesn't have a PP value or a lend lease circle?

In the past it was used as an convoy zone to cut supply for axis forces in africa .. Now you attack the harbors itself .. I think Mark and John use it to count the supply Status.. If you ask me i would remove the graphic

We also use it as Convoy zone that can be attacked by the Allies -  worth up to Axis North African and Middle East Production.

Not any more - I think we should remove it to avoid confusion.

Are you sure you want to get rid of it? It's a great way to disrupt income if the Middle East cracks open. With the oil bonus as income, it can be a great target. Doesn't seem like any harm to keep it - we just need to define the zone like we do in the Pacific...

Hey John, the rulebook has it removed for ages now i think.. isn't it obsolete now since you can attack the harbors with strategic attacks?

It will be nice if it had PP value for the allies to strategically attack it, one more headache for the Italian Navy and Airforce.

I totally agree - one more headache for the Axis is perfect!

I think it should be a 3PP convoy zone, Allies can have a fgt or a naval/tactical bomber to harass the Axis convoy zone like they did. Mark???

I would agree to George.

3 PP for Tripoli , Benghazi, Tobruk. similiar to the Japanese convoy zones.

If the italian own these territories you can bomb the convoy Zone.
