The Axis won the game in Autumn of 1942 with 42 victory points. Unfortunately the game only lasted 9 hrs after setup. The Italians were in India, the Japanese controlled all of China, Pearl Harbor was a total success for the Japanese,  the British Iles were a German Resort area and started Barbarossa in Autumn of 42.

The problems for the Allies was the US player sent no lend lease to Britain until it was too late, bad card draws for tension levels (first game this has happened), early British builds and I had one of the best dice games in a long time. The allies had a new player(A&A player) playing Britain for the first half of the game and one of my players played the US for the first time.

No Pictures - I still dont have a digital camera and Aaron wasnt there to take pictures  :)

Brits may be the toughest to manage for a first timer...

The UK is a real tough power to play, especially early in the game.

Most of our '39 games would blow up one way or another because of what happened to the UK.  Either you need a really good game played by that player or you need to play a '41 start up.

Luckily, in both of the grand match up games we had with the design team we had good play for all of the powers and got a full play out for the game.  Some of the best gaming experiences ever!
