Below is the current nearly final version of the European map.  We are planning to lock this down soon - so please let us know if you have any comments or suggestions!

I just got to see this thing today.
Beautiful map.
The only thing I'd suggest is adding Dakar and Jamestown (I think that's it's name in Guinea) on the West Coast of Africa.

Dakar was a problem for the British because the French had a naval and airbases there and if Vichy caved in the Germans might use it to harrass their convoy center at Jamestown.

I'm thinking of adding them to my d6 map.

A really good suggestion.  Especially if Gibraltar falls to the Axis - the Allies have no really good staging ground to get back into North Africa or to retake Gibraltar - this would help remedy that problem as well. . .

This map is beautiful. Does it mate up to the Pacific map?

Maybe after a few more playtests... We have been pretty focused on Europe for the moment. Never have enough spare time...

I'd say you could put the U.s. a little further down the board, center it vertically. It doesn't make sense that it takes 4 map water spaces to get to britain but it takes 6 map water spaces to get to Spain. Spain is closer to america than the u.k.

John says the sea zones are numbered for the final map and also here is the draft for the expanded Africa that is in the final map - French West and Equatorial Africa are forrest/jungle terrain as well as is the Belgium Congo.
