U.S. National Championships (sort of)
« on: April 09, 2007, 04:51:48 AM »
Ok
Mark and I are preparing to face the CENTRAL U.S. reigning champs, the "Motor City Mortor Team ", on their home turf. They are playing the Allies.

Date: April 21st 2007

At this point Mark and I are still trying to workout the finer details of our grand Axis strategy which we humbly labeled "OPERATION DOMINATION", like who is playing what nationality... :o :P

John

P.S. We are willing to accept challenges from any part of the world, right Mark?

I'm betting my money on the game's originators!

Don't be too quick to place wagers - I usually lose. . . :'(

This is just the Northeast/Michigan semi-finals.  The real U.S. championships will be at either Origins or GenCon - so you will get your shot RandR!

By the way, the European quarterfinals need to be held at some point too. . .Micoom, Christoph, Darkman, Domenico, Domonik, Sleipner, Basiror, Victor. .

I suggest you all go to Micoom's home - he is sort of central   ;D

My record is 1 win and 5 losses, with the one win coming from riding Eric's coattails. :-[

That is not a stellar track record. :'(

Well, it is 2 days to the BIG GAME. Is Detroit ready or what? I understand that they are formulating a grand plan to deal the Fuhrer (Mark) and Tojo (me).

I have already figured out my job as Tojo. I am going to have to keep the Fuhrer grounded. Once he begins ranting and raving and giving orders to move units that do not exist - I will just call 911...  :o :)

That's "Fuhrer" to you Tojo. . . don't make that mistake again or I will declare war on you after I finish off Russia. . .
