Our last game had this conundrum:

Germany lost initiative and drew a 0 chit first, then sent paratroopers to Norway.

Norweigan Troops were replaced with British troops per the rulebook.

Britain opted to attack the invader with it's Norwegian complement of troops on Britains 0 chit, but was instructed that this was not possible, as those Norwegian troops would not be "activated" until Germany has had a round of battle capturing Norwegian territory?

Britain also reviewed the possibility of landing "reinforcements", and or attacking the invaders with amphibious British units.  But was instructed that any attack on the invading German unit, would be a D.O.W. by Britain against the Norwegians. As the Norwegian territory is not be occupied/attacked by Germany until the battle phase.

Can someone help us out with this one?  What can Britian do? When do the Norweigan troops become British?  Can they attack the invader? (I would argue counterattack but that would confuse everyone)

Rules Questions & Clarifications / Re-Rolls, Per battle? or per round?
« on: April 13, 2015, 08:49:19 AM »
The rules regarding re-rolls are ambiguous.

Please clarify - if a leader with a reroll of two can:

1. Re-roll all of his dice, twice, for each round of battle he is engaged in. Meaning that in one single battle he can reroll up to 8 times (assuming the battle last 4 rounds)?

2. Or does he just get 2 rerolls per battle period, despite the round of battle?

3. Reroll just one dice, or must reroll all dice? Is there a choice?

4. Can air battles be rerolled?

Rules Questions & Clarifications / Yugoslavia
« on: April 13, 2015, 08:43:07 AM »
The rules state that Yugoslavia can be invaded by Italy without a declaration of war on England.

But the rules also state the all Yugoslavian units become British.

In a recent game, the Yugoslavian player opted to place his units in the north west of Yugoslavia, and attack Italian home territories.  The Italian player intimated that it was an illegal move to attack Italy, because that was a D.O.W. by England.

Then the question came that can Yugoslavian units, that are now british, attack anything? for example, Yugoslavian territories,  And if they can, can those attacks be coordinated with british air support or other elements?

And can Yugoslavia be reinforced with British Units for a proxy war?
