Title: Fortifications PIECES
Post by: georgemak1 on December 06, 2015, 11:09:16 AM
Historical Board Gaming is selling a 3D fortification piece. The way it comes its a little too big to fit on the counter, but I just got off the phone with Doug, the owner of the company, he can scale it to the point that will fit on the counter. Im planning on ordering about 60-70 of them, if anybody else will like to mass order with me, we will most likely get a really good pricing for it. There is the link of the website, take a look at the pieces being offered and we can decide all together which one will be better for the game. I was thinking on the dimensions, 13mm wide/8mm long and 8-10mm high, it will make it git on the counter perfectly                   . http://www.historicalboardgaming.com/Fortifications-3d-Printed_p_2034.html
take a look and let me know what do you think.

And there it is guys we finally have a fort piece that will fit on the counter and look great at the same time. I found a 3D modeler that worked with me the last days and this is what he came up with. Its dimensions are 20mmx12mm and 7.5mm height. It should fit perfectly on the counter. there is the link https://www.shapeways.com/product/4GK9VEVJJ/mini-bunker-3-set-of-10?li=shop-results&optionId=58775902

Thx Darkman, they look amazing the only downside of them is at 2 dollar each and needing 145 for both games, they are kinda expensive. But hey you wont take the money with you, ;D. I just finished painting them and started mount them, there are a few pics of them.

https://www.shapeways.com/product/4GK9VEVJJ/mini-bunker-3-set-of-10?li=shop-results&optionId=58775902 . This is the link John, the 3D modeler was very helpful on making a fort unit specifically for the game.

https://combatminiatures.org/collections/structures . Big selection of bunkers, I'm sure you can get a better price per unit if you buy a bunch of them at once.
