Hey guys,

Can't wait for next week!  Just to let you know, I've got myself and Chad(solomongrundy) from two years ago coming for probably the Friday session.  From what I'm reading about Origins---wow, that sounded like a good time.  We are coming in on Thursday and we'll see you then.

I had a great time at Gencon this year!  I played UK on Friday in the longest game I have ever been part of.  Going to Gencon this year I wasn't sure if I was going to play another marathon session but once I arrived and saw the game again - I had to play.  Plus, Thursday's game ended with an early victory for the Axis, I thought - this game can go shorter than 15 hours.  Nope - 16.5 hours into the game and lost in a very close struggle, the allies were about 1 round behind where we needed to be.  I have to say that I did get lots of help from Mark, John and Dave, but even my lucky (really very unlucky) rolls couldn't save me in the end.  At least 3 times I could not take a territory because the enemy had 1 item left that I could not kill.  I have lots of pictures that I need to post.  Thanks for a great time!!

Unfortuantely we aren't going to Origins and Chad isn't going to Gencon this year - overrulled by the boss.  I'm going to be at Gencon in August - hope to see you there!

Also Tiny in the front.  You can see the US fleet just off of Japan and the Japanese fleet in shambles.  Germany has been pushed back out of Russia, France and Italy fell - this is just before we called the game.  Funny - I didn't get any pictures of myself.....next time.
