Airbase-Attacks & Mechanized Phase
« on: August 15, 2014, 10:29:21 PM »
Can planes that did a airbase attack, support adjacent battles in mechanized Phase?

Mark pointed out that planes that did a strategic attack, cannot support mechanized battles.. so i'm not sure about this one.

Yes they can. Remember planes that retreat or are returned can not participate in mech adjacent mech battles. Also - one note it is possible to lose a ground battle but win an air battle. Those air units could then still support and mech battle in the same or adjacent territory. Food for thought...

Q1 So when you have to retreat because your frontline is broken. You don't have to retreat your planes?
Q2 What happens to planes that were pinned due an airbase attack and stayed on the ground, once the territory is captured? Do they have to retreat?

Correct on both accounts.
