Hello Spitfire,
Â  Â Here is a link for more photos until we get more. A friend of mine posted some great pics from a past gaming session.

Hello Bob,
Â  Â  The release should be before the end of Sept.. We are finalizing a few things so it may take a bit longer. You would need to send a check or paypal Mark. The basic game will have a list of miniatures and where to buy them. It will be cheaper to buy the full version with painted miniatures from us then buying them on your own unpainted - that is - if you were planning on doing all metal pieces. The reason the list is included is just in case you only wanted to buy certain pieces. I personally like pushing around the metal miniatures.
Â  Â  Â Mark may go to GEN CON in CA.
Hope that answers your questions.

John

Hey Chad,
John here. I was helping you guys (the Axis)out. Your group played like pros. I would have never believed it was your first time playing. Great game right up to the end. By the way - I agree. It is a game in which you can enjoy even if you are on the losing side...

Strategy Tips / Putting pressure on Cairo and the Suez
« on: August 11, 2005, 01:38:44 PM »
If you can force the Brits to commit a large portion of their resources to defending Africa and the Middle East, it weakens them against the Japanese in the Pacific. This strategy seems to take a lot of patience and an overcommitment of German forces to help aid the Italians but with all of the triggers in the region and the potential of taking PPs away directly from the Brits, I think it can payoff.

Hello Imperious Leader,
I will be joining/helping Mark run the game at GenCon. I will remind him to bring his digital camera. Thanks for the helpful info. I look forward to playing with you in the future. The game is a whole lot of fun. He has received a lot of positive response so far. I am sure you will really love the game.

Strategy Tips / Re: Japan--General Strategy
« on: July 22, 2005, 06:16:34 AM »
Hello Don,
I would tend to agree with Mark. Going into Russia may not be a bad idea if you can catch the Russian player off guard AND Germany is putting A LOT of pressure on them, otherwise within a few turns of the Japanese declaring war on them, the Russians can put together a pretty sizeable force to initially stop Japanese advancement and eventually start an offensive front against them. Japan would have a tough time dealing with this AND the U.S. as well as keeping China contained. There are a lot of options for Japan without going into Russia. In this game - nothing is impossible - just highly unlikely...

Hope to get a game in with you at some point.- John

Game Design / Re: 1941 Version
« on: July 15, 2005, 02:35:00 PM »
1941 Version played out till the end (assuming Axis do not win earlier by capturing enough victory points) should take 10 hours assuming you are playing the entire world version. Less if you are just playing the European or Pacific theater...

Strategy Tips / Re: To build factories or not to build factories

I think that if Germany feeds enough product to the Italians in the Med. they can do a lot of damage. I will be more than happy to illustrate this. :)

I think that is the way to go. Conserve units for the BIG FIGHT (Russia)!

Strategy Tips / To build factories or not to build factories
« on: June 08, 2005, 02:41:23 PM »
With factories costing 24 production points to build (therefore taking 5 turns to break even) you should consider whether the 24 points of unit builds can just as easily take territories worth 5 PP - this one mainly applies to Germany or Italy. Probably boils down to aggressiveness - do you want to attack places or conserve units for the long run?

By the way, I will demo the game at Origins on Friday and Saturday in the Historical war games area. If anyone plans on trying the game - please let me know
