Europe versus Asia

In many of our games Allied players sent evrything to Europe and crunched Germany.  In a recent game I deliberately didn't do that cause I don't like it, but won any way.

In any case, has anyone considered having some sort of seperate allied progress levels that would penalize the allied player if he fails to make progress in a particular theater?

Actually, in our last big game against the Bostonians, Eric from our group put a vast amount of his US resources into the Pacific specifically to make sure that he could get after the Japanese ASAP.

Ask John how that worked out! :o ;)
