Some Question
« on: December 18, 2006, 06:10:18 AM »
1)  Q: Can a unit use both strategic & tactical each turn or only stratetgic "or" tactical?

2) <Rules> "If they elect to attack strategic convoys, each submarine rolls 1d6 and the opposing player loses that many production points up to the maximum of the convoy zone. "

Q: Can each sub do up to maximum damage or all together only up to the maximum of the convoy zone?

3) Q: Is there a AA gun limit for a territory ?

4) <Rules>  If the U.S. is delivering 5 production points in Lend Lease to Great Britain in the North Atlantic, the U.S. player would spend 5 production points in his initial phase and place a red chip under one of the British control markers in the North Atlantic. The British would then collect any surviving production points at the beginning of the next Allied turn.

Q: is there a lend lease points limit?
i mean can i also put 10 or 15 points into the lend lease slot

5) Last so far

Q: What is this used for?

Some more answers:

1)  Q: Can a unit use both strategic & tactical each turn or only stratetgic "or" tactical?

A: Each unit may only move strategically OR tactically during the movement phase. - Not both. During the Mechanized Phase mechanized units may only move tactically.

2) Q: Can each sub do up to maximum damage or all together only up to the maximum of the convoy zone?

A: All together - up to the maximum per convoy zone.

3) Q: Is there a AA gun limit for a territory ?

A: No. Having more AA in a territory allows you to fire (still only once) at additional air units.

4) Q: Is there a lend lease points limit? I mean can i also put 10 or 15 points into the lend lease slot?

A: Yes there is lend lease point limit. Each convoy zone/lend lease zone is labeled on the map indicating the maximum lend lease per zone/territory.

Hope that helps!

John

1) John is correct - Regarding tactical vs. strategic movement:  Units can either move tactically OR strategic movement to redeploy - not both in a movement phase.  Only tactical movements is allowed during the mechanized movement phase.

2) The convoy zone has a maximum amount of damage that an be inflicted upon it - not maximum per individual sub.  Example: A North Atlantic convoy zone is worth 10PP + potentially up to 5 more Lend Lease PP.  Therefore, a maximum of 15PP worth of damage can be inflicted (if the US is maxing their lend lease in this sea zone) to the convoy zone by one or more subs and surface raiders.

3) There is no limit to the number of AA guns in a territory - but each attacking plane can only be shot at once per round, regardless of the number of AA guns.

4) Each lend lease territory or sea zone has a lend lease PP limit.  For example, the US can lend lease up to 15 PP to the K via the North Atlantic (5PP for each North Atlantic Convoy zone).

Hope this helps   ;D
