Title: Commonwealth income for builds
Post by: georgemak1 on July 19, 2015, 05:56:49 PM
Hi guys I'm playing the European theatre only, and I have a quick question. Common wealth starts with 20PP do you spend pps for builds on each individual country( India,Australia, Canada) as the set up sheet says, 6,6 and 8 pps for each, only you can build one turn ex. 20 pps for Canada or anyway you want? I would think each country spends their money individually but I would like someone to clarify this.

Hi George - we have played it that you can spend it any way you want but it is more realistic to break it down to individual spending. ...

Makes sense - that essentially happens after Pearl - then the CW is only building with Canada.

You should let India build an artillery piece, that will adjust everything

I think I like giving the CW more flexibility and prefer a clarification:

Quote
27.9.3 Commonwealth production is used to build units in Canada, Australia and India.  There is no restriction as to where the Commonwealth production can be used (i.e. all 20pp may be used to build an Australian artillery, infantry, destroyer and AA gun), however, maximum build limits must be followed (i.e. it the Commonwealth wants to build 3 infantry, they would have to build 1 in Australia, 1 in India, and 1 in Canada).
