While Sweden was political neutral in ww2 What we do with them ?

Facts
- During the German invasion of the Soviet Union, Sweden allowed the Wehrmacht to use Swedish railways to transport (June–July 1941) the German 163rd Infantry Division along with howitzers, tanks and anti-aircraft weapons and associated ammunition, from Norway to Finland. German soldiers traveling on leave between Norway and Germany were allowed passage through Sweden — the so-called permittenttrafik.
(Maybe the railways Need to be updated for this)

- It also allowed the Allies to use Swedish airbases between 1944 and 1945. (Operation Doomsday - Liberation of Norway)

By the way you guys remember the very rare entry table from the first version of the game ? :)

The so-called permittenttrafik: http://www.konditori100.se/SiWW2/sww2gtis.htm

Mid 1940 - August 1943

1 daily train (500 man) back and forth Trelleborg-Kornsjö (Oslo )
1 weekly train (500 man) back and forth Trelleborg-Narvik

Summer 1941
Norway - Finnland / South Karelia (through sweden 15000 men ) infantry Division Engelbrecht

Should we allow some sort of strategic redeployment from Germany to Norway / Finnland without Transport ships mechanics ?

In all, close to 100,000 railroad cars had transported 1,004,158 military personnel on leave to Germany and 1,037,158 to Norway through Sweden by the time the transit agreement was disbanded on 15 August 1943

We the Detroit Play group have experienced our first activation of Sweden in a game.  After all the of playing the first edition of the game, we had never had Sweden come into play.

So while the UK Home Isles are fully occupied and the Axis have not only Sweden but Spain in the mix, Japan didn't get to launch its surprise strike because the US declared early.  The Axis have one more chance to get Turkey to activate if they can take Mosul and Bushire, which they are close to because Cairo has fallen.

UK is operating on limited funds because of multiple turns of convoy damage, but the US/UK combined Pacific fleet is dancing with Japanese and trying to keep it from moving on Australia and India.  And the Germans are a bit behind on the Eastern Front because of their work in England.  It will be an interesting play out to say the least.

Unfortunately, yes.

We are playing with a Summer '40 buy only turn as our start and then full play in Fall '40.

I didn't pay attention to Martin buying the third transport.  It happens.

Just to complete my suggest on this:

- Add Trelleborg in Sweden and connect railways
- Extend the railroad from Kiruna(Sweden) to Narvik
- Extend Railroad to Kornsjö near Oslo
- Extend a Sweden Railroad to Southern Finland

Make a rule that allows to redeploy 1 units per turn into\out Norway / Finland per turn for free.

Not sure if we should make these changes in the standard game or just make it a 'house rule'.

Feels like a lot of changes and modifications to accommodate 1 infantry division that got railed across Sweden (not counting solders on leave and minor transport).  I am kind of trying to reduce special rules rather than include more of them if possible.

Thanks for answer.
I can understand that you don't want to make a new for sweden and leave it as a house rule. I'm fine with it.

On the other side i don't understand how railroads in sweden & finland would hurt the game even if you don't plan to add an rule for it.
There are so many railroads on the map and the one's that were used, do not exist ;-)
